2022 Volvo EC380 Crawler Excavator

This EC380 volvo and pretty much everything is very clean on this machine, no dangling paint on upper structure, no dent throughout the counterweight (I didn’t get on it yet), and nothing on the frame underside that I could see while walking around the track — no streaks on the travel motors or the rollers, this is the first place to get streaks as old seals give up on this class of machines. I’d estimate 85-95 percent remaining points on the bucket teeth which still have good points, arm pins do not have lateral play and they feel tight when picking up the bucket and shaking.

Very interesting is on the inside: seat’s still got the factory plastic wrap on it, either very low hours or the owner was real careful about storage; floor mat is still red, no corners caked with mud; no cracked panels anywhere; and joysticks are in good condition with no wear – the safety lock lever on the right console is intact with all warning labels still readable – something I’m surprised to see on many machines that have been banged around for a few years. When I arrived at this location it was propped open, and no one was present. Oh and the manual to the ABU wasn’t included in the pocket of the door, not that it does anything mechanically, but thought I’d throw it in.Engine bay — volvo valve cover is dry, no seepage at the gasket line, coolant tank appears to be at the proper level through the plastic, green OEM hoses are not swollen or soft and OEM DEF filler cap seems to be in place. I checked the pump section from right hand side access, and there wasn’t anything on the bottom of the fitting when I looked at it, but to be proper, I scraped my finger along the flat face of the fitting, no oil film present anywhere and there for this one; wasn’t any tacky oil out there either. The floor area under the pilot valve had the normal dozen or so spiral wraps with all the connections torqued but the area under the floor plate was completely dry.I didn’t see anything as a hard NO. If the hours match up to the price then go for it.
