Product Description

Today’s inspection focused on a Hyundai 305LC-9T. First, I opened the engine compartment to check the engine; it was clean and there were no oil leaks. The entire storage area for the excavator was extremely muddy, like a swamp, so I walked very carefully. This is some kind of diesel set up (did not see what the exact spec was, but this vehicle came unchanged with the red silicone boots around the intercooler pipes and I’m assuming this means it’s a spec change). There is no smoke of any kind coming from any area, block is dry, is no weep from the valve cover. Went around the hydraulic pump “Wait, let me look things up again; pump housing, that will be orange, and all of the fittings around that were dry, no new seepage of oil that I saw. Hoses were all dressed in protective sleeves—typical for Hyundai in this class—and everything appeared to be in order, no cracks in the sleeves or wet spots under where they were usually would be leaking off if they were open.

It’s in the undercarriage where it’s interesting this thing’s been operating in a straight mud, that’s gooey on the tracks and rollers. There is still maybe 95 percent left on tracks, I could see how they’re not quite planed down flat, with grooser bars, but they are on the way there. There does not seem to be any bend or crack in track frame anyways. The cab interior is weird as everything appears to be shrink wrapped as if it had just come straight from a ship, seat even has those red decorative bows on it, indicating maybe it’s a demo inside, or it’s a ship off the shelf, newly imported although all the mud paint has been applied to the exterior. Controls are also wrapped and I wasn’t able to see if there is any play in the joysticks. There is no glass or other debris in it; work lights on the roof appear to be in good condition. There are no cracks/damages on counterweight and those cooling vents are cut in place. The only thing that annoyed me, is that mud in all places made it difficult to really check the seals in the underside thoroughly… it could be leaks from the track adjusters seals and won’t be until someone power washes this thing. Hydraulics appear to be in good condition, there was no signs of any troubles in the engine bay, no signs of any problems with the overall.

Picked up one 2025 CAT 320D2 for a highway expansion job we just won out in Texas. Was worried about the hours being rolled back because you see that everywhere now but our shop foreman plugged in the laptop and ECM matched the dash exactly. Good solid iron.

My guys have been running the Volvo EC210D we got off here for about 400 hours now. Zero downtime. The inspection report noted a slight weep on the bucket cylinder which I appreciated Equipment auditors on the machdealers platform telling me upfront. Repacked the cylinder for $150 and it's been making us money ever since.

Load a lot of containers for West Africa out of different ports. Best thing about machdealers platform is they get the export docs right the first time. Commercial invoice, packing list, title. No delays at Jebel Ali Port Customs. Bought 4 KOMATSU PC200-8 from them so far.

We run a basalt quarry site in Central Ethiopia, we needed a 36 ton heavy excavator that can run 24/7 loading rock. Found a used KOMATSU PC 350 on here, after 3 weeks non stop continuous operation on site, engine temperature stayed normal all the time. That machine takes so much beating on our rocky ground, no issues at all. Exactly the tough workhorse we needed.

The shipment from korea to Uganda took a little over four weeks, slightly longer than I was initially told, but the platform sent me weekly photo updates showing the machine's location on the ship, so I never worried about losing money. The machine arrived in perfect condition, and the short wait was worthwhile. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

We found a Volvo EC240 excavator at a very good price for our new residential project. The seller even uploaded complete maintenance records from the previous owner, saving us the cost of hiring an independent inspector and flying in to check the machine's condition. This alone saved us over $800 in travel expenses.
