2024 SANY SY95C Pro Crawler Excavator

The snow on the site hasn’t completely melted yet, and this Sany Heavy Industry 95C Pro mini excavator has been parked here for several days. After today’s inspection, we can put it back in the warehouse, which will also reduce the damage to it from rain and snow. I see no huge gouges or rust beginning to set so I assume it’s clean counterweight paint and hasn’t been used on a load of demo jobs where they continuously are backing into concrete forms or rebar. The tracks themselves are in a rather good condition for one that had been kept in a dealer yard that are only about 5 percent worn on the pads, the sprocket teeth are still sharp, there was no grinding noises from the wheels when I spun them by hand and the idler wheel looked like it had just been greased. Undercarriage is truthfully one of the better of the month! Clean.

All cab windows are held in place with no stress cracking around the corners where vehicles cause this a great deal if slamming the door too hard, or tip over on uneven surface. I didn’t get to see the inside due to keys not being present and the sales guy being occupied with another sales client, but as far as I could see on the interior, it was clean, no trash scattered around or torn up covers, etc.  The air filter canister is clean, no cracks; the fuel filter was clean, the housing hasn’t all gotten grungy like you expect when people have neglected to change the fuel filter in a long time; engine bay—let me check my notes here—yeah, nothing. No oil any place at all on the frame rails or under the swing bearing…bloody hell, you’ll see the bad ones drip for weeks until they are noticed.If that works out that might be a problem for a few since operator’s manual wasn’t in the cab but that doesn’t matter. Since it was under the machine and the ground was saturated with melted snow and slush I wasn’t able to determine if there was any older marking but with the flashlight anyway did not see anything to give me a worry, no black streaks or any hydraulic fluid marking on the track frame. Swing bearing housing is dry, bolts are torqued down OK, no new squeeze out that would indicate that someone just packed it to cover up a problem.  Not on target but in spirit. There was no sign of hours and the display was off, so I can only speculate what this display might have been saying, but it looks like light use  or moderate use, low use based on the overall condition. Appears to run fine as far as I can tell, without starting it.
