2021 SANY SY75C Pro Crawler Excavator

Today I inspected a used Sany SY75C Pro in the field, not before it was past our noon hour, at which point the sun was making the day so very hot, and the mind numbing question would be, “want some tea?—no, I’ll look at the machine! Next I looked at the boom and stick; both are hydraulic rods and I found no markings on the stick that I could tell the difference between and I could see that the mounting area on the outside of the hydraulic seals was dry, a good sign. The bucket is covered with rust on its surface – but the structure seems intact; can’t see any cracks around the pin bores. Both boom pins and arm pins felt tight, and could not be pushed for any play. As for this machine that sounds good until this age.

The interior of the cab — it’s worked and let’s face it. Oem clothes in red, very quilted, thrown on top of it [so it’s not so cringy like the white covered ones at hand, but is also what people use for crashes, sits right up to the seat, has grime working into it, but is not cracked or torn.There’s a red quilted oem cloth thrown on top of it, oem floor mat of the sany rubber is there, no cracks or tears. Headliner is not in good condition – it’s abraded and soiled. Not a show machine. But, when I cycled them by hand, that travel was smooth with no inner parts, that is, nothing that is missing and would impact the function of the vehicle. Remember that for your own purposes!I worked in the engine bay, that’s where I worked for the majority of the time. Opened the hood — bad but cosmetic — paint on the underside of the hood is peeling off real bad, but nobody’s been tearing this place up much as there are factory gas struts in good condition on the underside. The block was dry, with a dusty surface, but no new oil was noticed anywhere on the surface of the engine. Nothing to be concerned with as far as the oil filter or hydraulic return filter go – it’s just a normal filter. Now, the lower section of the pump, at first glance appeared dry, and then, revisiting the lower casing of the pump up close, I found that there was some old oil residue, not fresh, but dried, and seen the dark side, and put a paper underneath for 5 minutes and nothing dripped — at some point this thing has been sweating and that’s evidence of that. Hoses are wrapped in spiral tape, are complete and have a red band marker (likely an old owner’s service note). I’m afraid all I can do is see radiator from afar and it looks nice. Grossly muddy and didn’t really get a feel for the amount of damage done to rollers until they were pressure washed. If it operates correctly, has no fire hazard, but cleans undercarriage prior to writing check.
