Product Description
The operator has just driven this Komatsu PC400 excavator out of the site. Nothing wrong in the engine bay as far as I can see – no oil puddling anywhere – had a look in and around the hydraulic pump housing and the main lines – no oil there – just the ordinary old oil dirt and dust that would be normal on used iron. Let me look at my notes, no, there doesn’t appear to have been any recent work done on it, air filter housing seemed untouched, coolant reservoir had its white bottle lid on it. Hydraulics feel tight when playing the sticks, no slop in the boom or stick cylinders and NO slop on its pins, which being a larger machine is a good sign because that’s where they bleed money if shot.
For a rental property, Cab is pretty clean; I’ve seen worse – seat on the operators side is pretty worn, all controls operate like they should, nothing broken or cracked throughout, floor mats are still there but dirty as can be. Of course, being slightly rainy while the inspection was being conducted, all surfaces not under the canopy were moist, making it difficult to look for the little paint chips but I didn’t see any major dents or cracks in the boom structure. Scrapes on counterweight paint in a couple of locations – normal wear and tear in loading and job site contact (no structural damage). Went over the swing bearing area and it’s solid there’s no play when rotating the house. I didn’t get to see the engine display when I arrived, and no one here had the keys to start it for me, so I wouldn’t know how much engine hours this one has (or how little) but from that worn wear pattern and from what I can see from the paint I’d imagine that this is no baby. Looking at hydraulic hoses they appear to be younger, some of the hydraulic hose fittings are clean, perhaps they may have been doing maintenance, who knows. No leaks. Both swing motors looked good on the outside, no cracks in the castings; and swing motor housing is dry. All in all, this machine seems to be working pretty well, having been used for a while, but not so much that it’s suffered damage or abuse, just normal wear and tear and retains enough to be ticking away on steady rentals.

Picked up one 2025 CAT 320D2 for a highway expansion job we just won out in Texas. Was worried about the hours being rolled back because you see that everywhere now but our shop foreman plugged in the laptop and ECM matched the dash exactly. Good solid iron.

My guys have been running the Volvo EC210D we got off here for about 400 hours now. Zero downtime. The inspection report noted a slight weep on the bucket cylinder which I appreciated Equipment auditors on the machdealers platform telling me upfront. Repacked the cylinder for $150 and it's been making us money ever since.

Load a lot of containers for West Africa out of different ports. Best thing about machdealers platform is they get the export docs right the first time. Commercial invoice, packing list, title. No delays at Jebel Ali Port Customs. Bought 4 KOMATSU PC200-8 from them so far.

We run a basalt quarry site in Central Ethiopia, we needed a 36 ton heavy excavator that can run 24/7 loading rock. Found a used KOMATSU PC 350 on here, after 3 weeks non stop continuous operation on site, engine temperature stayed normal all the time. That machine takes so much beating on our rocky ground, no issues at all. Exactly the tough workhorse we needed.

The shipment from korea to Uganda took a little over four weeks, slightly longer than I was initially told, but the platform sent me weekly photo updates showing the machine's location on the ship, so I never worried about losing money. The machine arrived in perfect condition, and the short wait was worthwhile. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

We found a Volvo EC240 excavator at a very good price for our new residential project. The seller even uploaded complete maintenance records from the previous owner, saving us the cost of hiring an independent inspector and flying in to check the machine's condition. This alone saved us over $800 in travel expenses.

The team here truly understands the procurement process of construction companies—they won't bombard you with sales calls after you submit an inquiry, but will send you the specifications, prices, and inspection documents you require within an hour. 10/10, they will be our first choice for all future upgrades and replacements of our excavator fleet.

I’m a one man show doing septic tanks and grading. Rented forever until I found a Kubota U35 here. Wth financing rates right now I needed a cash deal. Got a great price. Rubber tracks are almost new. Starts every morning no problem.
