Product Description
I was lucky enough to come across another Volvo EC290 excavator in excellent condition; the machine starts up smoothly from cold without any hesitation—exactly the kind of performance you expect from Volvo equipment. No weeping around any of the crimps / quick disconnects – no collapse of any lines – cylinders don’t sweat which is a good indicator that seals are still functioning – boom and stick move smoothly without any judging in controls, and bucket cylinders, stretch their way out full stroke without issue. Yes, cab it’s pretty rough on the inside – floor mats caked with mud and a dirty red rag or towel just thrown on the floor, seat fabric has the normal wear of would be expected but the mesh back support is still in tact and the glass is dirty but not cracked.
These scratches and chips are on the paint on the counterweight and don’t appear to be rusted all the way through, just surface scratches, such as loading trucks in confined areas or scratches from brushing vehicles. Undercarriage—let me just go back and look at my notes here—yeah, I wasn’t looking for any fresh grease or oil anywhere that would point to a leak repair being done, everything looked good and dry and dusty to me, which is what I would like to see.Side panels of engine compartment opened easily, coolant tank had brown discoloration around it, but the liquid in the tank seemed normal when looked through the plastic, air filter housing was standard with no modifications or funky bits behind the grill, nor radiator fins. There are mud piles packed into track frames, the machine must have been doing some work at a mud site as such cracks, if any, would not have existed.

Picked up one 2025 CAT 320D2 for a highway expansion job we just won out in Texas. Was worried about the hours being rolled back because you see that everywhere now but our shop foreman plugged in the laptop and ECM matched the dash exactly. Good solid iron.

My guys have been running the Volvo EC210D we got off here for about 400 hours now. Zero downtime. The inspection report noted a slight weep on the bucket cylinder which I appreciated Equipment auditors on the machdealers platform telling me upfront. Repacked the cylinder for $150 and it's been making us money ever since.

Load a lot of containers for West Africa out of different ports. Best thing about machdealers platform is they get the export docs right the first time. Commercial invoice, packing list, title. No delays at Jebel Ali Port Customs. Bought 4 KOMATSU PC200-8 from them so far.

We run a basalt quarry site in Central Ethiopia, we needed a 36 ton heavy excavator that can run 24/7 loading rock. Found a used KOMATSU PC 350 on here, after 3 weeks non stop continuous operation on site, engine temperature stayed normal all the time. That machine takes so much beating on our rocky ground, no issues at all. Exactly the tough workhorse we needed.

The shipment from korea to Uganda took a little over four weeks, slightly longer than I was initially told, but the platform sent me weekly photo updates showing the machine's location on the ship, so I never worried about losing money. The machine arrived in perfect condition, and the short wait was worthwhile. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

We found a Volvo EC240 excavator at a very good price for our new residential project. The seller even uploaded complete maintenance records from the previous owner, saving us the cost of hiring an independent inspector and flying in to check the machine's condition. This alone saved us over $800 in travel expenses.

The team here truly understands the procurement process of construction companies—they won't bombard you with sales calls after you submit an inquiry, but will send you the specifications, prices, and inspection documents you require within an hour. 10/10, they will be our first choice for all future upgrades and replacements of our excavator fleet.

I’m a one man show doing septic tanks and grading. Rented forever until I found a Kubota U35 here. Wth financing rates right now I needed a cash deal. Got a great price. Rubber tracks are almost new. Starts every morning no problem.
