Product Description

The teal paint job that you see, is number 308 stickered on the cab door, which is a Kobelco SK130 Super. My engine says D04FR-NK07ST, it idles smooth, doesn’t smoke like it does when it starts, and it came right on up. Same story with the hydraulics, there’s no lag on the stick at all, pump “whine” is normal and it’s the Chinese version of the Kobelcos, they all have a “whine” at a high pitch when swinging the boom fast but nothing is out of the ordinary here. Doesn’t look at all filthy, but the inside of the cab is dirty, and the floor is dirty and mud smeared on the windows and the operator doesn’t seem very deep on cleaning up, other than with the seat which is intact and not the cleanest ever, but the joysticks are not sloppy, so there’s some points. Perfect lighting wasn’t accomplished with each seal, but half way through I had to settle for was raining.

Undercarriage caught my eye – tracks filled with clay and smaller rocks stuck in links, no apparent wear on the sprockets, idlers are round, not egg shaped – good, rolls spin around, one bottom roll on the left side has a very small seep line of grease, not recently – seems to have been there for some time but nobody paid attention. Inspected the swing bearing area to look for any cracked areas of the frame, and that welds had been factory original and that no sign of someone hacking apart and re-joining the frame after an accident. Now the area around the engine–you know I was looking at my notes–I thought I saw oil but no, it is not wet around the valve cover, no weeping is going on, but injector return lines some dust and grime were wiped around and there is no fresh oil so that’s fine. Clean fuel filter, tight hydraulic tank cap and no foaming in sight glass. I didn’t like one thing: The hydraulic hoses by the main pump seem very original, and rubber is starting to start cracking in a couple locations, but it’s not leaking at this time of year, but on some hot afternoon six months from now. Linkages tight. Boom cylinder rods have pitting, but are not deep enough to be grabbed with a fingernail. Runs fine overall.

Picked up one 2025 CAT 320D2 for a highway expansion job we just won out in Texas. Was worried about the hours being rolled back because you see that everywhere now but our shop foreman plugged in the laptop and ECM matched the dash exactly. Good solid iron.

My guys have been running the Volvo EC210D we got off here for about 400 hours now. Zero downtime. The inspection report noted a slight weep on the bucket cylinder which I appreciated Equipment auditors on the machdealers platform telling me upfront. Repacked the cylinder for $150 and it's been making us money ever since.

Load a lot of containers for West Africa out of different ports. Best thing about machdealers platform is they get the export docs right the first time. Commercial invoice, packing list, title. No delays at Jebel Ali Port Customs. Bought 4 KOMATSU PC200-8 from them so far.

We run a basalt quarry site in Central Ethiopia, we needed a 36 ton heavy excavator that can run 24/7 loading rock. Found a used KOMATSU PC 350 on here, after 3 weeks non stop continuous operation on site, engine temperature stayed normal all the time. That machine takes so much beating on our rocky ground, no issues at all. Exactly the tough workhorse we needed.

The shipment from korea to Uganda took a little over four weeks, slightly longer than I was initially told, but the platform sent me weekly photo updates showing the machine's location on the ship, so I never worried about losing money. The machine arrived in perfect condition, and the short wait was worthwhile. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

We found a Volvo EC240 excavator at a very good price for our new residential project. The seller even uploaded complete maintenance records from the previous owner, saving us the cost of hiring an independent inspector and flying in to check the machine's condition. This alone saved us over $800 in travel expenses.
