2021 SDLG E6225F Crawler Excavator

The machine traveled a distance today in the gloomy weather, leaving excellent visibility on the gravel road and a comfortable ride. Its previous paint scheme was yellow and brown, and its model number was SDLG E6225F, which likely indicates it had previously worked on projects in China before arriving here. First up is the engine bay area, which has this aftermarket white filter system, it’s made in China and up right there on the proverbial canister, but still, it threads on fine and the housing doesn’t have any cracks in it (and it is OEM). The valves are coated with dust, but when I wiped off the dust on the cover there’s no oil weeping through the gasket, I didn’t see any cracks on the exhaust manifold, hoses around the cooling system are pretty dirty, but not brittle when giving them a squeeze, didn’t see any dried coolant trails.

Hydraulics—the dots on my pad, that is—as I recall, it is dusty but none of it is active, no active leak, on a surprise back this swing motor is a SDLG from this era where they often weep around the main pump on the one being held by myself. There were no signs of dust on anything in the engine compartment outside of 2 inches of dust on everything so I pretty much had to look closely, there were some organized hoses with zip ties and all the fittings I could reach were dry.  I took the photos near a building, with bare trees around and it is likely that it has not moved in a while.As far as Counterweight, it does have a bit of brown on it, but it’s probably from way back this time as it was a hydraulic type of stain and I touched it and it wasn’t sticky so no fresh. Boom and stick paint is faded—when not all the machines (not the metal) are being used.The yard guy said not to see any wet spots all over the machine, after being in place over night. Seems to have no problem running except I couldn’t start it. So overall, it’s used, records its hours, requires tracks fairly soon (within a year) – guts not grenaded, and nothing is in active puke fluid.
