2022 SDLG E6210Fs Crawler Excavator

Today I inspected this SDLG E6210Fs excavator at the site. This is a large construction machinery supplier; they have a wide variety and a large quantity of machines on site. This excavator no issues on boom and stick other than the standard paint fade and a couple of blotches of rust [but nothing structural] and counter weight is somewhat confused about where paint should be [affects nothing, its just cosmetic].

Because I would spend most of my time in the engine bay, that’s where the money is — popped the side panel and the first thing I see is my turbo comes with orange brown surface rust – not a lot eating through its material it’s just sitting and moisturizing- on the machines that sit in the outside in damp environments. Inspected all hydraulic lines/fittings, all Eaton hoses ran to every part and were dry and full of dust, no oil staining or wetness around the area of the oil pump, inspected the travel motor housing and it was clean as well, swivel joint – double-checked – no staining or wet spots, seals are holding. Filters are White and Cylindrical in shape and Filters Housing doesn’t have any grit on the housing which indicates someone has been changing them. The engine block has dust on it, but if you run a hand around the valve cover area there doesn’t seem to be any oil leakage, it wasn’t that bad, considering the amount of rust on the turbo.Glass on cab is fine, I couldn’t get in because it was locked and the operator wasn’t present to let me in, so I don’t know what the interior’s like, but from outside it looks fine, or the seat may be ripped to shit, but that’s under the glass in the cab, so inside would be fine too.The tracks are mud caked, so I can’t determine the exact wear (unless I did a washdown), but it was level and didn’t look like it was sagging over to one side.
