Product Description

I was pleasantly surprised to find this mini Kobelco SK55SR among a bunch of excavator sites. I quickly called the staff to drive it to the open space in the middle of the site so I could properly inspect it. The machine’s signature blue-green color was striking, the engine started smoothly without any unusual noises, the boom and hydraulic system operated very smoothly, and the bucket teeth were in perfect working order—they must have just been replaced with a brand new set.

The cab was very clean, which suggests that it was cleaned by professional staff. The machine only had some dust and dirt, and there were no oil leaks or old oil buildup under the chassis. While grabbing and yanking at the pins on the boom and stick joints did not show any ‘slop’, bushings do appear to be tight for their age. The metal does not bend or crack (that I could see) and Dozer blade has a blade mounted up front. So it has like Glaad stenciled on the side panel; I guess that’s the dealer or maybe the previous owner. Clean and no crack in windshield or side panels as this would cost a lot of money to replace, which is very important and an indication of how clean it is. In fact it was rather sunny during the inspection which is always a bit of a problem as it’s hard to see the leaks if it is brighter than that, but it didn’t matter because there wasn’t any new leaks anyway.Seat belt’s there. Controls respond. The hydraulics were not making funny noises and the pump did not begin to whine/cavitate in any way when pedaling the hydraulics. Tracks move. Blade tilts.  Machine digs. I couldn’t find any any looseness in the swinging bearing. For a used mini ex it’s in a decent condition as it’s not brand new but it is not trashed either and has been yard kept and maintained reasonably, you can tell that from the interior of the cab not being destroyed and the paint not being all scraped up to hell.

Picked up one 2025 CAT 320D2 for a highway expansion job we just won out in Texas. Was worried about the hours being rolled back because you see that everywhere now but our shop foreman plugged in the laptop and ECM matched the dash exactly. Good solid iron.

My guys have been running the Volvo EC210D we got off here for about 400 hours now. Zero downtime. The inspection report noted a slight weep on the bucket cylinder which I appreciated Equipment auditors on the machdealers platform telling me upfront. Repacked the cylinder for $150 and it's been making us money ever since.

Load a lot of containers for West Africa out of different ports. Best thing about machdealers platform is they get the export docs right the first time. Commercial invoice, packing list, title. No delays at Jebel Ali Port Customs. Bought 4 KOMATSU PC200-8 from them so far.

We run a basalt quarry site in Central Ethiopia, we needed a 36 ton heavy excavator that can run 24/7 loading rock. Found a used KOMATSU PC 350 on here, after 3 weeks non stop continuous operation on site, engine temperature stayed normal all the time. That machine takes so much beating on our rocky ground, no issues at all. Exactly the tough workhorse we needed.

The shipment from korea to Uganda took a little over four weeks, slightly longer than I was initially told, but the platform sent me weekly photo updates showing the machine's location on the ship, so I never worried about losing money. The machine arrived in perfect condition, and the short wait was worthwhile. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

We found a Volvo EC240 excavator at a very good price for our new residential project. The seller even uploaded complete maintenance records from the previous owner, saving us the cost of hiring an independent inspector and flying in to check the machine's condition. This alone saved us over $800 in travel expenses.
